Description

ROCK FRONT 350 Pro Ultralight is a lightweight and packable backpacking bed built around modular quilt system with sheet concept. Down quilt zips to sleeping mat sheet to create a stable sleep setup with more comfort and freedom than a traditional mummy bag.

Sleeping mat provides insulation from below, while quilt covers sides and top. This setup works especially well for active sleepers and anyone who wants more room to move through the night. It also feels natural for side sleepers who turn often during sleep.

Top opening tightens with drawcord and wraps around neck for better warmth retention. Zipper area is protected from drafts, so you can move more freely without twisting quilt out of place. For ventilation, open foot-end drawcord or unzip left or right side.

Integrated pillow sleeve uses adjustable buckles to keep pillow in place. It also works with soft clothing layers like a fleece or down jacket.

Use case

  • as a complete backpacking bed with quilt, sleeping mat sheet, and pillow sleeve for summer and three-season trips
  • as an outer layer in a two-layer sleep system over a sleeping bag
  • as a hammock underquilt with Underquilt Set Upgraded
  • as a classic quilt without sheet with Quilt Set Upgraded
  • as a down blanket for home, flights, camping, or warm summer nights

  1. Maxim

I bought the Rock Front 350 pro ultralight to replace my $400 exped sleeping bag. As a result, I gained 350 grams in weight without losing warmth or quality of materials.
I have already tested the sleeping system in a 5-day hike. On the plus side: a lot of free space, nothing restricts movement, the sleeping system does not slip against the mat, the down does not get out at all. Of the features: the remaining free space needs to be warmed up, so at +5 in thermal underwear I already felt a little cool (but I’m a coldsleeper). Sometimes I wanted the quilt to wrap around the mat even more on the sides, but the sheet doesn’t allow it, so next time I’ll try the quilt set fastening system instead of the sheet. The longitudinal cells for the down are for the entire length of the quilt without partitions, so over time, the down may migrate.
The quality of workmanship and materials is very high. I am satisfied with the purchase!

Good afternoon) Great quilt, I use it very often as an underquilt with a hammock, just a super combination. Multifunctional thing for camping when you go with a tent or with a hammock. To use as a regular quilt is also very convenient, as to me more comfortable than even a classic sleeping bag. In general, I want to buy a quilt 200 pro for use with a hammock. As an underquilt I plan to use 350 and 200 as cover).

  3. iboya

The concept of sheet + quilt + pillow works great! At +5C outside, it’s warm under the quilt (you can easily unzip it up to halfway…..). This is my second sleeping bag from ROCK FRONT – I’m happy with both!

  4. Yehor

Will my THERM-A-REST NEOAIR XLITE mat size L fit to this sheet? In the spec. it is indicated that the maximum length of the mat is 195 cm, will 1 cm of the sheet stretch up to 196 cm?

    • Store manager ROCK FRONT

Yes, the sheet will fit your mat

  5. Paul Adamson

Will my Big Agnes Zoom wide/long mat fit the sheet? It is 64×198 and 9cm thick.

    • Store manager ROCK FRONT

With a thickness of 9 cm, the length of 198 cm would be too long. Perhaps a sheet will fit, but it will be difficult to put it on. We still recommend using it on a mat up to 195x65cm.

  6. Alina

Will my mat 64*183 (THERM-A-REST NEOAIR XLITE) to this sheet?

    • Store manager ROCK FRONT

Yes, the sheet will fit the size of your mat.

  7. Gabriel

I bought this sleep system with the intention to carry less weight and still be warm. This quilt system has not let me down at all. The quality is amazing! Reading some input on whether the fitted sheet would work with larger pads had me somewhat worried. The Big Agnes Zoom UL in the wide version will work with the fitted sheet. That pad is 25inches wide by 72inches long. I’d recommend this system to anyone who wants to camp and backpack in the three seasons.

  8. Leon

Can the quilt be used on its own ?

    • Store manager ROCK FRONT

Yes, of course. It has loops along the zip. You can use the Quilt Set attachment or make your own. However, this particular model is specially designed for use with a sheet. You might be interested in the 400 Base UL model. It comes with convenient attachments to the mat.

I wanted to test this quilt for a while before I wrote a review. I think it’s amazing and I am very happy with my purchase. I’ve used it many nights in the colorado mountains and it has performed exactly as I’d hoped. I was nervous to order at first because I couldn’t find any reviews in English really, but this product is exactly what I imagined in my mind I wanted, but couldn’t find any US companies that made something like this.
I think this is the perfect setup. I can use this quilt in warmer temps unzipped and when it gets colder you can just zip it up. Then for very cold nights and winter camping I add another quilt inside and zip it up all the way. If I had one small criticism it would be that the zippers do snag on the fabric pretty easily, but with a little practice it’s really not an issue and doesn’t bother me at all. Thank you from colorado for a great product!

I pair a large 350 pro with a Big Agnes Rapide SL Insulated 64×183 Wide and its a really good match. The zippers is in the outer edges of the matress and the sheet can be cinched to a snug fit. Overall quality seems to be top of the line and the functions well tought thru.

  11. Edgar (verified owner)

Thank you for the awesome quilt! 350 pro ul!
I think I’ll do the video on youtube to show how cool the thing is. Worth every cent spent except cruel import fees of my country.
One suggestion. You should have a transit store or warehouse in EU with lowest custom fees. It cost me additional 107 euro to pay taxes. 457 euro for the quilt will hurt anyones wallet no matter how good it is. Wish you the best!

Hi, will it fit the new thermarest neoloft regular wide?

    • Store manager ROCK FRONT

Sadly, but your mat will be too big for this sheet.

  13. Remus Lenghel

    Hi,
The large version will fit on a Big Agnes Rapide SL L-wide pad?

    • Store manager ROCK FRONT

Hi! Yes, the long version will go with this mat.

  14. Perry Scott

    Hello.
Which of your warmest quilts do you recommend to fit the new ( large ) Nortent Torv 7 mat ? Cheers.

    • Store manager ROCK FRONT

Currently, the warmest quilt is the 600 Ascetic UL down quilt. It is perfectly suited for this mat. If you are considering quilts with a sheet, such as the 350 Pro UL model, the sheet can still be fixed to the mat, but it is slightly larger than the maximum dimensions we recommend, so the sheet may be stretched.

  15. Tim

Hello, will either the 350 regular or large fit the Therm-a-rest NeoLoft regular? Thank you. Oh, do you have any idea when both of the 350 systems will be restocked?

    • Store manager ROCK FRONT

Hello! The quilts are currently in production and will be available for order soon.
Recommended sleeping mat sizes for the 350 Pro Ultralight quilt:
      Regular size:
      Minimum: 180 × 51 × 4 cm
      Maximum: 185 × 65 × 10 cm

      Large size:
      Minimum: 190 × 60 × 4 cm
      Maximum: 200 × 65 × 10 cm

Does the 350 Pro Ultralight fit into the Sea To Summit Ether Light XR Insulated Air mummy sleeping bag ? I’m worried about the corners of the sheet bending and the resulting zipper issues

    • Store manager ROCK FRONT

Yes – the 350 Pro Ultralight should fit the Sea To Summit Ether Light XR Insulated Air reasonably well without severe issues.
Recommended sleeping mat sizes for the 350 Pro Ultralight quilt:
