ROCK FRONT 650 Ultralight is built for winter trips, cold off-season use, and mountaineering. Center-Zip Convertible Mummy Bag concept gives it more versatility than a standard mummy sleeping bag, making it easy to use as a warm sleeping bag, a blanket, a quilt, or a hammock underquilt.
Anatomical mummy shape helps retain warmth, while long center zip makes temperature control easier. You can vent heat from top or foot end by opening zipper partway. In warmer conditions, bag can be opened fully and used as a blanket.
Special elastic loops let you attach bag to sleeping mat in quilt mode when you want more room inside while still keeping better draft control. Reinforced loops also allow 650 Ultralight to be used as a hammock underquilt.
Insulated with premium 900+ fill power goose down, it stays warm, lightweight, and compact at the same time.

I recently bought this bag. The quality, like everything else from this manufacturer, is top. Not yet tested in trip, but the first impression is wow!!!
Dmytro –
The sleeping bag is cool, it proved itself well in the winter Carpathians, I plan to test it in combination with a quilt in colder temperatures!

Thank you very much for a quality product made in Ukraine! On the advice of a friend, I paid attention to this sleeping bag, and I’m happy with the purchase. Everything matches the description, high quality, and very pleasant to the touch. Looking forward to larger sizes to order another one.

From the beginning of my backpaking life, I wanted to buy a down sleeping bag. It takes up much less space and is more pleasantly warm compared to synthetics. It retains its temperature characteristics longer.
I bought the sleeping bag as a basis for a sleeping system for all seasons. Next in line is a quilt with a sheet. I think 350 Pro will be just right. And then let the people from RockFront tell me whether the internal space of the quilt will be enough for this sleeping bag.
I tested the sleeping bag in two hikes.
The first one was on Kukul. We spent the night in kolybas, so we didn’t even put the tent out.
But the second one was a test)
Overnight on Mount Velykyi Verkh at a temperature of about 10 degrees below zero.
I also used a fleece liner.
I’ll say this, it was close to the capabilities of the sleeping bag at that moment. I slept well, did not freeze.
All this is subjective and cannot be used as a guide.
Thank you Rock Front for making backpaking accessible. Thank you for developing and improving.
Update: review of the previous version
Lars Anton Mattsson –
Really enjoyed the sleeping bag. It’s so light yet incredibly fluffy. Only problem I’ve had so far is that it’s so hard to close the zipper the last centimeters on the top, yet it’s even harder to get it back open. Might have been a manufacturing issue with mine. But for the price it’s a superb investment.
Store manager ROCK FRONT –
Thank you for the review! I’m glad you liked the sleeping bag. I apologize for the inconvenience with the zipper — it’s a self-locking zipper and can sometimes snag when closing. We’ll work on resolving this.
