Multiquilt down hood is designed to work as part of Multiquilt sleep system, but also works well on its own. It adds warmth during sleep with a quilt, pairs naturally with down poncho, and works as lightweight insulation for bivy use, camp, or cold-weather hiking.
Separate hood setup works especially well for active sleepers. Unlike a sleeping bag hood that can twist when you turn, a fixed quilt and separate hood stay in place through the night. Anatomical shape and underarm fasteners help keep hood close around shoulders and neck, which improves warmth and helps block drafts.
Despite low weight, hood adds noticeable warmth and packs very small.
