Hot Head Ultralight is a lightweight insulated hood designed to work especially well with quilts. Compared to a sleeping bag hood, a separate hood stays in place more reliably when you turn during sleep, which makes it a better fit for active sleepers.
When used with a quilt attached to sleeping mat, hood stays in the right position no matter how often you move. Anatomical cut and special fasteners help it sit close to shoulders and protect neck from drafts.
It also works well beyond sleep use. Hot Head Ultralight is light and compact enough to carry as backup insulation for bivy use, camp, or sudden temperature drops during movement. It can also be worn around neck like an insulated collar when full head coverage is not needed.
