Insulating layer made from loftier, more textured fleece with higher pile that holds more warmth compared to the Alpha Hoody 100.
It has an open mesh base, so excess heat and moisture can escape quickly. The fabric handles moisture well and keeps you feeling dry and comfortable even when you are active.
Works best as a warm midlayer under a windbreaker or membrane jacket in cold weather. This combination gives warmth close to a light down jacket, but is more versatile and better ventilated. In dry, calm weather the Alpha Hoody 120 can also be worn as an outer layer, especially at an easier pace or around camp.
